Being the largest inland lake in Michigan,
Houghton Lake is known for its excellent water sports.
Wow! What a beach! 
Nearly 300 ft. of beautiful sandy beach. Fresh sand was ordered
just for you. Our shoreline offers a swimming area without a seawall.
For those who enjoy relaxing in the sunshine, you will love the beach, as it is equipped with chaise lounge chairs just
waiting for you.

For you fishermen and boaters out there, you have come to the right
place. Our dock is 150' long, plus an additional 20-ft. "T" at the
end. Feel free to bring your own boat as we have plenty of space
either on our dock or if you prefer, we have augers out in the lake.
We have additional property
across the street, which offers plenty of safe, lighted parking
for your trailer.
Boat Rentals
If you do not have a boat, we've got you covered. We rent 14-ft.
aluminum fishing boats with or without a motor and we also have
two pontoon boats. One of our pontoon boats is a "fishing" pontoon
boat. This boat is equipped with fishing seats, depth/fish
finder, trolling motor and a live well for your catch. Just bring
your pole and let us handle the rest.
Other On-Site Activities and Fun & Games:
For those of you who prefer staying close to home, there is
enough activity right here on the property. Enjoy fun and games
such as badminton, basketball, campfire pits, croquet, ping pong,
school yard swing set and slide, kiddie swing set and play equipment,
shuffleboard, tetherball,
splash boat and water volleyball. Additionally,
our large circular asphalt driveway provides ample space for
bikes,
skateboards, scooters, roller blades and
remote control toys.
Nearby Activities and Sights to See: There is so much to see and do; it is impossible to name them all.
There is a church of every denomination, amusement parks, canoeing,
casinos, dancing, golf, horseback riding, Michigan's most unique
movie theater, miniature golf, roller skating, tennis courts and
more. All these with doctors, dentists, ambulance Service, State Police, laundromats, restaurants and shopping centers
to serve you. Sights to see include the Lumbermen's Monument, Ogemaw
Game Reserve, "Big Mac" spanning the Straits of Mackinac, Mackinac
Island, Lake Michigan Shoreline, Sand dunes, virgin timber at Hartwick
Pines, the Call of the Wild Museum, 175,000 acres of State Land
for hiking and exploring.

AUTUMN
SPLENDOR
The beautiful colors
of Autumn set the hillsides aflame in
striking
contrasts to the deep greens of evergreen forests and make a lasting
impression in the minds of all who are fortunate enough
to visit
us in the Fall. The color is at its peak in September and early
October.
Fall-Fun-Fest is held annually in September. Also, the
Michigan Firemen's Memorial Festival is held annually the third
weekend in September.

A SPORTMAN'S PARADISE

Houghton Lake is well known for it's fishing, deer, duck, other
bird hunting and trout streams. Approximately 175,000 acres of state land surrounding Houghton Lake
offer a variety of cover to accommodate all types of hunting.

Ideal location for skiing, snowmobiling and Ice Fishing. Miles of
groomed Snowmobile and Cross-Country Skiing Trails. Houghton Lake
is the hub for numerous snowmobile trails. Snowmobiling from your
door with the trails located within one mile. Excellent ski slopes
nearby. Houghton Lake is the home of "Tip-Up Town, U.S.A." This
winter festival is held annually, the third and fourth weekend in
January.
